Little Cottage Daycare rules

This daycare is inside our home and we treat all children like family.

• Children age. Little Cottage provides caring and fun environment for children age 2 months thru 5 years old.
• Safety We are a state licensed daycare with 2 teachers and 10 kids. All staff have their food handlers permit and observe strict sanitization and clean preparation of food. We have two exits and both go to secured and fenced play areas.
• Rainy day solutions. We have covered outdoor play area, but we also encourage parents to provide rain gear since we still like to have the kids play outside in the open area.
• Sick kids. Daycare code prohibits sick children from coming to the daycare. Sick children should stay home for care by their parents.
• Discipline. Children are expected to treat all their fellow participants and teachers with respect. Children not following this behavior will have certain privileges temporarily taken away.
• Accident report. All accidents will be documented and reported to the parents of the children involved.
• Nap time. We have scheduled nap time after lunch that lasts until 2:30.
